MVT Extends Helping Hand to Homeless Families in Odisha

In a compassionate gesture, Model Villages Trust (MVT) recently presented two fully furnished houses to families rendered homeless by a devastating fire incident in Danogahir village, Odisha.

The beneficiaries’ homes were gutted in a fire incident, leaving them facing the daunting challenge of rebuilding. Taking charge of the rehabilitation project, MVT completed the construction of two houses and officially handed them over to the deserving families.

Present at the handover ceremony were distinguished individuals, including Syed Liakat Ali, Hafiz Abdul Reheman, Krushna Chandra Harichandan, Israel Khan, Pradeep Biswal, Saukat Ali, SK Talim, and others, who witnessed the joyous moment of families receiving the keys to their new homes.

Model Village Trust has selected two villages to transform them to the national average as part of its village empowerment activities. In total, MVT has built nine houses in these villages to contribute to the improvement of living conditions and community development.
