For Model Village Program, empowerment is a process that challenges our assumptions about the way things are and can be. Through continuous involvement, we enable villages to take responsibility and accountability for the outcomes of their actions.
Behavioral transformation of the villages is our ultimate goal. Our all intervention strategies and participation mechanism are architected to turn this dream to reality.
Model Village Program is the exploration of differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. It champions the idea that diversity drives social, economic, and cultural dynamism and innovation.
In a village, the ‘Model Village Program’ embraces all villagers, irrespective of religion, race, gender, disability or another attribute which can be perceived as different. We believe that inclusion is a human right.
Our three-year-old son, Ijaz Khan, was suffering from malnutrition until the Model Village Trust stepped in. They conducted a checkup and immediately enrolled Ijaz in their malnutrition-free village program. Through family counseling, doctor check-ups, and nutrition kits, we received invaluable support and guidance on proper nutrition and health guidelines. With consistent care and nutritional support for almost 6 months finally, our son is now free of malnutrition, and we couldn't be more grateful to the Model Village Trust for its life-changing impact on our family. Their dedication to making a difference in our community is truly inspiring, and we are forever thankful for their kindness and commitment to providing resources for families in need.

I live in Harinkola village in West Bengal. Here female literacy rate was very low. Model Village Trust started Adult Literacy Center here. I was illiterate. I learned everything after joining this center. Our instructor teaching us very well. Literacy changed my life.
Under the Malnutrition Free Village program, we received nutritious foods like chatua and daliya from Model Village Trust, which is more than what I received from the local authorities. I saw improvement in my child. He is more active than before, he plays and roaming around. Now he started to live a healthy life.
