A women’s group from Calicut, Kerala, sponsored five open well projects in the Godda district of Jharkhand. Godda, a backward region with a significant tribal population, faces a severe shortage of safe drinking water. The newly constructed open wells aim to transform the lives of the local residents by providing them with a reliable source of clean water.
These projects are part of a broader initiative by the Model Village Trust, which implements various village development programs across different parts of North India, including Jharkhand.
