Menstrual Hygiene Program
Under, the Menstrual Hygiene Management Program of Model Village Sanitary napkin sponsorship program has been introduced in the selected villages. To promote safe menstrual practices 100 women are trained and given sponsorship for sanitary napkins in selected village of District Godda, Jharkhand. The women were provided regular counseling, training, and napkin support by MVT. The program aims to improve access to safe and hygienic menstrual practices in rural spaces. The 100 selected women between the age of 15-35 years were given 1 year of napkin support by the organization.
Open Defecation Free Village Program
Under, the Open Defecation Free Village Program of Model Village, 4 individual toilets were constructed in a partnership model in West Bengal. To promote safe sanitation MVT has designed an ODF village program with the objective to create safe sanitation for all in rural spaces. The program has been successful in catering to the needs of the rural poor and it has been implemented in a partnership model in which the beneficiary participates with its share in whatever way he can.
